Janelle (Nell)

Janelle was born and raised in Reno, Nevada. After she graduated high school in Carson City in 2016, she went on to do three years of college striving to go into the nursing field. She had the pleasure of traveling for work within her job while working for “In -n- Out”, a growing company, which introduced her to Oregon. She had the pleasure of opening the store down in Keiser, OR. Janelle enjoys the fast-paced environments but also engaging and creating connections with customers.

Janelle is excited to finally be working in the medical field.  She’s interested in learning and developing her skills here at Mt Hood Eye Care to hopefully find her niche and career within the community.

She recently moved up here with her boyfriend and they have grown to love the area and people. They enjoy hiking and exploring nature every weekend, as well as love taking their 97’ Toyota Tacoma out off-roading. Janelle also enjoys painting, traveling, and creating jewelry. She is excited and ready to be working in a field that strives in helping patients improve overall health and working with a team that is so encouraging in her learning and development.

Breeana (Bree)

Breeana, also known as Bree, joined our team in May of 2023, but she’s been working in the medical field for most of her work career. She really loves helping patients thrive and learning how to help others in different aspects of her work.

Bree has been wearing glasses since 2nd grade, so she enjoys the look on kids’ faces when they put their new glasses on and see a whole new world! In 2016 & 2017 she got the opportunity to fit glasses to kids in Uganda. Little did she know she’d switch medical careers and get to do it again here! She’s well known around these parts, so not a day goes by when she doesn’t know at least one of our patients who walk in.

But here are some fun facts you may not know about her. She loves camping in a tent! It’s the real way according to her.  She loves spending time with friends and family and going on random adventures with her boyfriend. Being outside amongst the trees along the river in her hammock is her favorite place to be. She also enjoys watching old classic movies like Singing in the Rain or Anne of Green Gables. While watching those movies, Bree indulges in charcuterie boards which she loves to make because she likes cheese… except Brie cheese. She thinks that’s gross!

Bree has been to 10 different countries and has seen some incredible things and amazing people! Next on her places to go are Greece and Scotland. But she really wants to go back to Uganda. She loves to explore the beautiful countryside and world that God created!

She is very involved with the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, as it hits close to home with her niece. She participates in the fundraising walk every year and will be adding the 800-stair firemen climb this year to support people with Cystic Fibrosis. She loves volunteering and helping others. Bree is looking forward to what God has for her in this new chapter of her life and is hopeful to SEE where this new career takes her!
